Academic Orientation is also a part of FEP 2015, but this time we sat in a class and study just like in college. But the difference is, academic orientation is just a “trial” for us so we will have a vision what is the feeling and atmosphere when we are a college student. We studied how to operate Microsoft Visual Studio C++ and how to coding. We were teach by a lab assistant. There is also a curriculum, where we gathered in an auditorium and the speakers represented how is the curriculum at Binus University. Last day of general orientation, we were told by a lecturer our academic advisory teacher so we can contact them when we have struggle with our courses. At our very last class of academic orientation, a lecturer told us support centers that operate in Binus University. There are SSC, SAC, and many more. We can go to one of those centers if we have any problems that involve our study at Binus University. About HTTP (HIMTI Togetherness and Top Performance), we were taught by the lecturer how to coding c++ and java and they took us for a walk to see any kind of technologies and after all the formal events, we saw performances and having fun.
